I finally took the time to add pictures from the last year. So last year in Aprilish (?) Ira took Samuel and Hunter to the Lego fest in Denver. Poor Baylin could not go because he had his tonsils and adenoids removed the day before. They really enjoyed it. Bummer that they don't come to Denver every year.
Samuel learned to ride his bike May of last year. It took Ira all of less than a minute to teach Samuel and it was done.
Then there was the guy trip in June when Ira's brother, dad, and nephew Zack came to visit. Samuel had been waiting for the day they would come.
Of course we had to go to see the Angels play ball while they were here.
June also brought another year to Ira's age. We had the number of gifts that added up to Ira's new age. I had to get a little creative considering the big number I had to fill.:)
My attempt at a birthday cake. We have since learned how to do better.
And of course another school year started. Samuel was excited. He is in a class with a good friend of his from last school year.
Baylin, on the other hand was not so happy to start school.
It did improve before I left.
Then in September Cali was added to our family.
Baylin has been in love with her ever since she arrived. Giving her kisses ALL the time and calling her pretty girl.
Her first bath. The only one of the kids who did not cry through the first bath.
Hunter was posing for Papaw.
One random photo from the hospital not put in order. But my mom came to help she was put to work the whole time. I ended up in the hospital way longer than I ever wanted to stay so between her and Ira they were swapping kids and hanging out with me. She was a big help.
Baylin's 5th birhday. He is a big fan of Ninja Turtles.
I had tomatoes and strawberries during the summer and we had a visitor.
Halloween is so fun for me each year. The boys get so excited about getting dressed up. We went to three events for trick or treating this past year. It was fun.
Papaw and grandma got these cool toy guns for the grandkids when they come to visit. The boys loved them and their cousins have loved them too.
Of course they all had to pose with Papaw. He was only throwing a ball for his dog (baby) Jasmine.
Cali with her receding hairline for a little while.
This was a cool castle that my parents took us to go see. Bishops castle. Cool, but scary. Some places did not have anything safe for you to hold on to. Pretty neat to walk around.
My parents' neighbor friend has alpacas and she let us come over to see them. Hunter and Baylin were not afraid. They would get right in Hunter's face and he did not care.
Cali's blessing.
My dad got this picture of Cali. It was so cute. This was in November. So Cali was about 1 1/2 months old.
Hunter had not had a nap that day and we found him sleeping on the floor in his room while the other boys were still playing.
A picture of Samuel shooting after family pictures last year. That was the best family pictures ever. Not because everyone did great smiling and getting everyone in my family, sister's family, or parents smiling all at the same time, because that did not happen. Expected when you have 8 kids to get looking at the same time at the camera. But because after pictures we shot targets that were already set up from someone else who had been to this place before. Plus the little kids loved rolling around in the dirt and had a hay day playing together and yes they were still dressed in their clothes from pictures. Who cares. They loved it!
Of course the guys, meaning Ira, my dad, Samuel, and Baylin went to the Sportsmen's expo. They had a long day but really enjoyed themselves.
Well hopefully I update more of the past year before another year goes by.
