So I thought it was about time I update this blog.
Samuel, Baylin, and Ira playing in the snow last month.
Bayin wanting his pic taken.

Samuel really did not want to get dirty on this day. He got the bib himself and took off his shirt. He did not like us taking his pic.
The boys (including Ira) put tattoos on the day before Ira was put in the hospital. Ira showing his tough guy side. Scary huh?
I thought this was funny. My California boy dressed for bed with sweats, hoodie, hat, and three blankets.
About time right?
Sorry it has taken all this time to update you on our happenings. Hunter went from our new baby to just a couple days shy of being 7 weeks old! Now he smiles and talks to you. It is so fun! I love to watch the boys talk to Hunter and be so loving to him.
About Ira. So some may know and and others not. Ira was in the hospital for a couple of days two weeks ago. He had been sick with tonsillitis for about 4 days prior and then started complaining one night about chest pain and he couldn't breath. So a friend took him to the hospital. A little later I get a phone call from the hospital telling me Ira had a mild heart attack and was being transferred to another hospital. What!!!! Come to find out after a bunch of tests were run that the infection from the tonsillitis had gone to his heart causing the problem. They had to classify it as the heart attack because the blood work and the EKG came back irregular. After an ultrasound was done we found out no damage was done to his heart and that he was lucky for that. Otherwise they would have to have opened him up. Another positive thing happened from him going to the hospital is that we found out he has high cholesterol. So know we can work on getting that under control to help prevent future heart health issues.
Now that is the our past month in a nut shell. Hopefully February will run smoother.
