The boys in the chair is of them laughing as they were being spun around in circles. They were loving it.
Ira made this cross stitch for me a couple of years back and we never got it framed because of the scary prices we were being quoted. This year I really wanted it framed and thought we should try a different route. We thought we could build our own frame. The problem was that the picture is such an odd shape that you could not even find the right sizes in one of those build it yourself frames. We did find some unfinished wood made for framing and Ira cut it to the size needed. Then we painted it and got some hinges to use as decor and hold together the pieces cut. It actually turned out better than we both expected! It has my style to it and makes it a one of a kind frame. Besides the fact that we paid maybe $20 from start to finish to frame it ourselves!!!!!
Samuel and Baylin have been having fun riding the little elmo toy down the hill on the sidewalk. It is funny to watch them. They do really well steering around things in their way as they go down.
